Interview with Theatre major
I interviewed Adrienne Hall, a theatre major at Belmont University. I asked her "do you know names of any theatres in Nashville outside of Belmont? " She said the "Tennessee Reporitory theatre, the Dark Horse, the Actors Bridge ensemble, and Studio Tenn." I then asked if she had done any other plays at the local Nashville theatre and she said she had not, said she had "colaborated with the Actor's Bridge Ensemble." Then I asked her what plays she had been in at Belmont. She, then, listed off many plays, such as Euridicy. The most interesting question that I was eagar for Adrienne to ask was " why do you think people in Nashville do not attend musicals or plays?" She responded that she didn't "think the people realize that no matter how much advertisment that you have the best way to get people to come to a show is by word of mouth." This is such an interesting response because it is so true. I find out about plays from friends telling me more so than looking at posters at Bongo Java or any other coffee shop.
